What: Building a Fashionable Future Benefit Fashion Show
Who: Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County
When: Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 7:00pm
Where: 9 Union Restaurant, Concord, NC

Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County is hosting Building a Fashionable Future, a fashion show to benefit our 2009/2010 Women Build Project. The event will take place from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on September 10th at 9 Union Restaurant in downtown Concord.

Women Build is a project for women and by women. It offers a comfortable environment for women to gain confidence in learning new skills in home maintenance and repair, and even house construction. Most importantly, the completed house offers safety and security to a family in need.

Building a Fashionable Future will showcase clothing and accessories from a variety of local retailers, including shops in Concord Mills, Birkdale Village, Phillips Place, and throughout downtown Concord and Charlotte. Many Concord residents do not fully realize the many options for fashion located in the surrounding area, as well as right in our own backyard. Enjoy an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and affordable fashion to benefit affordable housing!

Tickets are $25 each and include one cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and a goodie bag. A cash bar will be available at the event for additional cocktails and soft drinks.

Tickets can be purchased using the PayPal link at left. Following a purchase, tickets will be mailed to each guest. Parking is available in the city garage on Cabarrus Avenue.
